Recently, Intel Media Streaming Services, which was our streaming provider, decided to close down all streaming operations as of the end of April 2001. This forced Premiere to find a replacement streaming partner in a relatively short period of time.

Premiere has selected Akamai Technologies, a very popular and widely deployed streaming media distribution company to provide our LIVE and archived audio streaming products. Premiere Radio Networks hopes that this change will be a benefit to all concerned.

So starting with Sunday Night, April 29th, the Art Bell program will be streamed by Akamai. Furthermore, the archive of each program won't be available until one hour after the end of the show. So please be patient if some things don't go as smoothly as they should, we've had a short amount of time to get all the signals to Akamai, and get all the proper programming in place.

After we've been running a few days with the Akamai service, if you are still having problems, you can report them to webmaster@artbell.com and I'll forward them to the proper departments.
