To Art and listeners,
I am just your average nobody. I also know right from wrong. This is the
first time I have ever done anything like this and just wanted to share it
with you. Here is a letter I sent to PDI. My best wishes go out to Art and
his family.
I refuse to dignify you with a title,
In this day and age when racial strife and oppression are running rampant and
tearing our society apart, you would do well to use your publication as a
positive tool to help with this problem. Instead it turns out you are part
of the problem.
In printing the lies that you have from a letter supposedly from Art Bell,
you perpetrate the very thing you should be fighting against. You are the
cause of racism at this point. You have helped racism hurt your own people,
not to mention the innocent man you have caused so much trouble!
I am just a simple man and do not even know if you will read this email, but
I know enough to check my sources and find out what the truth is before
jumping to the wrong conclusions! As a, supposedly, respectable publication
it is your responsibility to insure that the "news" that you print is
accurate and up to date. You have failed in this miserably!
How can you in good conscience report this filth to your readers? They rely
on you for the truth. I do not see how any of them can ever look at your
publication again and take it seriously. You have let your readers down
horribly. You have turned your paper into a rag magazine that is not fit to
be in the supermarket check out isles with stories about your reporter Leah
Salterio having Satan's baby!!
