Three years ago, Rael, the well-known spiritual leader of the Raelian Movement, the largest UFO-related organization in the world counting 55,000 members in 84 countries, founded CLONAID, the first company offering to clone human beings. They are currently working on the cloning of a 10-month old American baby who died. The laboratory, and scientific staff, is somewhere in the US in a secret location. Rael believes that today's cloning technology is the first step in the quest for eternal life. Once we can clone exact replicas of ourselves, the next step will be to transfer our memory and personality into our newly-cloned brains, which will allow us to truly live forever. Since we will be able to remember all our past, we will be able to accumulate knowledge ad infinitum.

It is no accident, argue James Redfield, that the twentieth and twenty-first centuries have witnessed a dramatic expansion of human experience. When author and therapist James Redfield self-published his first novel in 1993, the groundswell of enthusiasm from booksellers and readers made The Celestine Prophecy one of the most successful self-published books of all time. Since 1994, The Celestine Prophecy has spent more than three years on the New York Times bestseller list and also appeared on bestseller lists around the world. Bob Reiss
If you think the world's weather catastrophes are becoming more frequent and more powerful, you're right. Ten of the last eleven years have been the hottest on record, filled with dozens of record-breaking hurricanes, floods, and droughts. Is this coincidence, or is our civilization wreaking havoc on global weather? For his new book, The Coming Storm, Bob Reiss, spent a year traveling the world and collecting personal stories of victims of extreme weather, politicians battling over the greenhouse effect, and scientist whose work are proving that humans have already begun changing Earth?s climate. These personal stories bring the consequences of global warming to life in a dramatic yet factual way that answers the big questions and connects the dots. Reiss, a former Chicago Tribune reporter, has written for The Washington Post, Outside, Parade, Smithsonian, GQ, and Rolling Stone. He was a National Magazine Award finalist for his reporting on the Amazon and is the author of ten novels and two books of nonfiction. He lives in New York City.

Pam Reynolds
Pam Reynolds is a practicing musician, wife and mother of three and a member of a very prominent music publishing family. In 1991, she underwent one of the most fantastic surgical procedures ever performed. Dr. Robert F. Spetzler, Director of the Barrow Institute for Neurology in Phoenix, Arizona, and his team of daring surgeons clipped an aneuryism in her brain by a process known as "standstill." Her body was cooled to 58 degrees F, her heart stopped and most of the blood drained from her body. In short, Pam Reynolds was dead. While in this state, she encountered one of the most remarkable Near-Death-Experiences ever documented. Ten years later, hers remains the most scientifically documented case on record.

Rob Riggs
In the Big thicket, the unknown makes profound intrusions into what we call "reality." There are wonders in this region of East Texas and in Southwestern Louisiana-"ghost lights," phantom Indians, howling ape-like "wild men," and fireballs that streak through the nighttime skies. Rob Riggs is a journalist and the former publisher of a series of award-winning community newspapers in Texas. His interest in "ghost lights," "wild man" sightings, and related phenomena began as a child when he heard tales about them in his hometown of Sour Lake in Big Thicket country. Riggs began writing about the subject more than twenty years ago while working as a reporter for the Kountze News. Since then his studies of the phenomena have been featured in the Houston Chronicle and the Beaumont Enterprise. Riggs has also consulted on ghost lights for Waseda University in Tokyo and the Harvard College Observatory.
