To whom it may concern:
I heard about this story from my wife who was reading the entertainment
section in your website. When she first told me about this, I was appalled
that somebody could say such a thing. But after a few more excerpts about
religion, philosophy, and culture, I began to doubt that anybody that has
half a brain would even think of comparing Filipinos to the Chinese,
Japanese, or Korean counterparts. I went to www.artbell.com and saw that Mr
Bell has a letter in the site explaining the circumstances about this hoax.
As journalists and a very reputable media company, you should never print
anything this biased without researching the source and finding a counter
claim, like going to Art Bell's website, because as you know there is always
two sides to a story. It is malicious and atrocious, not to mention unfair,
to both Mr Bell and the Filipino people who might read your article and act
on it.
