Art Bell Files Lawsuits

Much of the information previously posted here has been removed to honor the terms of a settlement agreement. The only case we'll be tracking at this point is the WWCR case.

Art Bell vs WWCR Complaint

5/30/99 -- Here is a copy of the Tennessee case filed back in 1998. This case preceeded the Oates/Stephens case, but was filed after the incident with Art's son. This case involves the radio station, talk show host and a guest who made false and defamatory statements about Art Bell over international shortwave radio.

Why Art Left the Air

5/28/99 -- This links to the Las Vegas Review Journal story on Friday's filing of another lawsuit involving Art's son. This lawsuit and story explain the events that led up to Art leaving the air in October 1998.
