I work in a California public school system and I was mentioning the 
Chupra Cabra to an Hispanic administrator of our high school today. 
He was surprised that I, a gringo, was knowledgable about the Chupra. 
He says that they have been around for about three years and have become 
known by the herds of sheep they leave dead in Mexico. I asked him if 
he believed in it and he assured me he did. He said all the Hispanic 
students believed in it too.

He later mentioned this encounter to an Hispanic teacher who later 
came into my office and showed me a picture of the Chupra that he 
had received from a student. I borrowed it to scan it and send it to 
you. The picture you have on your web page is pretty lame by comparison. 
Apparantly there was some other things in the picture that had to be 
clipped out so the owner of the picture couldn't be identified.
